A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 92-64 PROVIDING EXTENDED HEALTH AND
DENTAL BENEFITS FOR AFFECTED EMPLOYEES
BY THE REDUCTION IN WORKFORCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park has initiated additional layoffs due to termination of the
program services under the Citizen Services Division, pursuant
to Rule 13 of the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations; and
SECTION 2. That the Personnel Rules and Regulations make
no provision for severance pay or benefits; and
SECTION 3. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park is desirous of providing extended health and dental benefits
to those persons affected by the layoff.
SECTION 4. That the following persons shall have their
health and dental benefits paid in the following monthly amounts
to provide coverage through and including, May 31, 1993.

Carlos Frausto $ 464.96
Steven Stoltz $ 479.07
Joe Duran $ 181.64
SECTION 5. In the event an employee declines coverage or
discontinues coverage prior to May 31, 1993, he shall not be
eligible for any other benefits, including in lieu cash payments.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall forward a certified copy hereby to the
City Manager, each affected person and the Personnel Officer.
