was because the sign was slightly larger than per-
mitted by ordinance.

The City Administrator stated that the matter of County Comity Contracts.

Above motion adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Cole, Davis and Littlejohn

rioved by Councilman Cole, seccnded by Councilman Davis,
and unanimously carried, that the City Council accept
the Police Consultants report and that his recommenda-
tions be studied and considered.
A discussion was had with reference to the Street
Baldwin Avenue" in Rosemead and the street marker there-
for being confused with Baldwin Park Boulevard" in
Baldwin Park; that the public thought when entering
Baldwin venue it would bring them into Baldwin Park.
Moved by Councilman Cole, seconded by Councilman Davis,
and unanimously carried, that the City Engineer be
instructed to write a letter to the California State
Highway Department regarding identification sign
differentiating between the sign for Baldwin Avenue
in Rosemead and the sign for Baldwin Park Boulevard in
Baldwin Park.
Arayor pro tern Littlejohn announced that there would be a
conference meeting lionday, April 29, 1957 at 7:30 P.11.,
and that the meeting would be open to the public.
I4oved by Councilman Cole, seconded by CounciLaan Davis,
and unanimously carried, that the meeting be adjourned.
