THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
SETTING THE APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the California Constitution requires the Legislative Body to
establish an Appropriations Limit annually beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30,
1981;
WHEREAS, the City Council is required by Section 7910 of the Government Code t#
establish its Appropriations Limit by Resolution; and,
WHEREAS, the Appropriations Limit documentation has been available for public
inspection for the required fifteen days, in accordance with Section 7910 of the Government
Code, prior to the approval of the limit by the Legislative Body.

SECTION 1. The Appropriations Limit for the Fiscal Year 2024-25 has been determined to
be $101,614,675 and was prepared using the change in the Per Capita Personal
Income change of 3i.62% and the City population change of -0.06% as provided by the
State Department of Finance, pursuant to Sections 2227 and 2228 of the Revenue and
Taxation Codes, calculations as of January 2024.
