HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 821ORD 821pT3(ÌìÒÀORDINANCE NO. 821 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIIY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE ZONING OF SAID CITY, AND REZONING CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY TO CONFORM TO TOE GENERAL PLAN. ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. Z-430 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9310 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, that certain real property located in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of Califomia, more particularly described as: 1. Property located at 13302 W. Ranona Boulevard. 2. Property located east of Baldwin Park Blvd., south of the San Bernardino 1-10) Freeway, west of Francisquito Avenue, and north of the Walnut Creek Wash, excluding property located at 13916 Francisquito Avenue and property Book 8558, Page 28, Parcels 3,6,7/17,21) located at the northwest comer of Vineland Avenue and Francisquito Avenue. be, and the same hereby are rezoned to conform to the City of Baldwin Park General Plan as amended by City Council December 17, 1980, and the City Planner shall amend the Official Zoning Map" of the City of Baldwin Park to reflect such changes. SECTION 2. That the City Council, at the time of the public hearing relating to the zone changes. Case No. Z-430 determined subject to Section 15067 of the California Environmental Quality Act, that no environmental assessment is required SECTION 3. That the City Council does hereby find as follows: a) State law requires the proposed changes. b) The properties involved in the proposed zoning are more suitable for the purposes permitted in the proposed zone than for the purposes permitted in the present zone. c) The uses permitted by the proposed zones are not detrimental to surrounding properties. d) The proposed zone changes are not contrary to the spirit and intent of the General Plan or its elements e) That the proposed zone changes are logical and rational classification of the land. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the sane to be published in the manner prescribed by law.
