AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
ARTICLE VI, CHAPTER 2, PART A OF THE
BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE FOR THE
ADOPTION OF A SEWER ORDINANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 6500 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
6500. ADOPTION OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SANITARY
SEWER AND INDUSTRIAL WASTE ORDINANCE. Except as hereinafter
provided in this part, the Los Angeles County Sanitary
Sewer and Industrial Waste Ordinance", the same being
Ordinance 81-0043 is hereby adopted as the Sanitary Sewer
and Industrial Waste Ordinance for the City hereafter
Sewer Ordinance"). Said Ordinance is on file in the
Department of Connunity Services."
SECTION 2. That subsection 6501 c) of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
c) County Engineer shall mean the City
Engineer of the City."
SECTION 3. That Section 6502 of the Baldwin Park Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
6502. AMENDMENTS. Said Sewer Ordinance is
amended in the following manner:
a) Section 20.32.690 of said Ordinance 81-0043
is amended to include the following paragraph:
In the event that the damaged public sewer is not in
a County Sewer Maintenance District, the violator shall
reimburse the City within thirty 30) days after the City
Engineer renders an invoice for the same. The amount when
paid shall be deposited within the General Fund.
b) Chapter 20.28, Section 20.28.02 through 20.28.05,
Chapter 20.32, Part 2, Chapter 20-36, Part 2 are hereby
deleted. All fees and charges shall be set by City Council
Resolution."
SECTION 4. That Section 6503 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code
is hereby deleted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed
by law. \

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 849 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 15th day of December, 1982. That, thereafter, said
Ordinance was duly approved and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 19th day of January, 1983, by the following vote:
