AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO THE CREATION AND REGULATIONS
OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2.32.010 is hereby amended
to read as follows;
Section 2.32.010 Creation and regulations.
There being a need for a redevelopment agency to
function in the City, a community redevelopment
agency is created in and for the City. The City
Council of the City, pursuant to the Community
Redevelopment Law of the state, declares itself to
be the Community Redevelopment Agency. The City
Council, when acting as the Agency, shall be vested
with all of the rights, powers, duties, privileges
and immunities, incident thereto. Each member of
the City Council shall receive compensation for
serving as a member of the Agency, to the maximum
extent permitted by Section 33114.5 of the California
Health and Safety Code.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published
in the manner prescribed by law. /
