AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK RECLASSIFYING
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM ZONE R-l TO
ZONE R-l PD) CASE NO. Z-443)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does
hereby find, determine and declare, as follows:
a) That the owners of certain real property,
located at 4647 Laurens Avenue, more particularly
described on Exhibit A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference hereinafter
Property") made application for a change in zone
classification relating to said Property, frcan
Zone R-l to Zone R-l PD); and
b) That the Planning Conmission conducted a
duly noticed public hearing upon said application,
and recommended the approval thereof by the City
Council; and
c) That the City Council conducted a duly
noticed public hearing upon said matter and concluded
that the public interest, convenience and necessity
required the reclassification as requested, based
upon the following findings:
1) That the proposed change of zone is
consistent with the General Plan, in that, the
uses proposed for the Property are within the
range of uses allowed pursuant to said plan;
and
2) That the proposed change of zone is in
keeping with adjacent land uses and will result
in orderly development; and
3) That the change of zone as requested
is reasonable; and
4) That the public interest, convenience
and necessity require the reclassification as
proposed.
SECTION 2. That the said Property, above-described, be, and
the sarre hereby is, reclassified frcan zone classification R-l to zone
classification R-l PD) That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as
approved by Section 17.06.020 of the Baldwin Park Zoning Code, is hereby
amended so as to reflect the reclassification of the Property to the zoning
classification as enacted by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and cause the sane to be published in the manner prescribed
by law- n
