AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 893, RELATING TO A MORATORIUM
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 893 be and
hereby be amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2. That notwithstanding any provision of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code to the contrary, during such time as this
ordinance, or any lawful extension thereof, is in full force and
effect, no person shall construct or reconstruct any building,
structure, or ccarmsnce any new use, as that is defined in the City's
Zoning Regulations, on any of the Properties described and depicted
on Exhibit A-2", dated April 3, 1985, hereto. No permit or any
other entitlernent of use, shall be issued by any officer or employee
of the City for any building, structure or use on any of the Properties
described and depicted on Exhibit A-2", dated April 3, 1985, during
such time as this ordinance, or any lawful extension hereof, is in
full force and effect.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be
an urgency ordinance and shall take effect inmediately. A statement
of facts constituting such urgency is set forth in Ordinance No. 983,
which is adopted hereby and incorporated herein by this ordinance.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the
manner prescribed by law.
