HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 899ORD 899pT3(Ììâ‚ORDINANCE NO. 899 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN PUBLIC THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Section 9.09.030, entitled consumption of alcoholic beverages", is hereby added to Title 9, Chapter 9.09 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to read as follows: 9.09.030 Consumption of alcoholic beverages- A. Every person who consumes any beer, wine or other intoxicating beverage on any public street, sidewalk, alley, highway, or other public place is guilty of a misdemeanor. This section shall not be deemed to proscribe any act which is positively permitted or prohibited by any law of the State of California. B. The provisions of this section shall not apply to the premises or adjacent parking area of any retail package off- sale alcoholic beverage licensee in which event, the provisions of Section 9.09.010 shall be conplied with. C, The provisions of this section shall not apply to any public park in which event, the provisions of Section 12.24.220 shall be complied with." SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed by law. APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of ATTEST: fflNDA L.
