HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 926ORD 926ÜÂh£ŸjìãORDINANCE NO. 926 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE FOR CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE AREAS KNOWN AS SUBAREAS 2 AND 3 OF THE SIERRA VISTA PROJECT AREA AS HEREIN DESCRIBED. CASE NO.: Z-457, CITY INITIATED THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: a) That pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Planning and Zoning Law Section 65800 et. seq. of the Government Code of the State of California), studies were commenced for the purpose of amending the Zoning Map of the City of Baldwin Park; and b) That a duly noticed public hearing was held upon said matter by the Planning Commission, and based upon the evidence presented, it determined that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare required that it recommend the approval of the reclassification as described on Exhibit A, Proposed General Plan and zone changes) April 16, 1986 incorporated herewith; and c) That the City Council conducted a duly noticed Public hearing on said matter, and based upon the evidence presented, it was determined that the public interest, necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the change in zone classification, herein described. That notwithstanding the provisions of Section 12.54 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, the zoning classification of the property is hereby reclassified as described on Exhibit A, dated April 16, 1986. SECTION 2 SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause a copy of the same to be published in the manner prescribed by law, and shall forward a copy of the same to the Secretary of the Planning Commission.
