HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 929ORD 929ÜÂh£ŸjìãqORDINANCE NO. 929 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY. ATED. CASE NO.: Z-458, CITY INITI- THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. SECTION 2. SECTION 3. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follow: a) That pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Planning and Zoning Law Section 65800 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California)/ studies were commenced for the purpose of amending the Zoning Map of the City of Baldwin Park; and b) That a duly noticed public hearing was held upon said matter by the Planning Commission, and based upon the evidence presented, it determined that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare required that it recommend the approval of the reclassification as described on Planning Com- mission Resolution PC 86-6 dated March 11, 1986; and c) That the City Council conducted duly noticed public hearings on said matter, and based upon the evidence presented, it was determined that the public in- terest, necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the change in zone classification, herein described. That notwithstanding the provisions of Section 17.06.020 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, the zoning classifica- tion of the property described on Exhibit A", is hereby reclassified as shown on said Exhibit A", Alternative 2. That this Ordinance shall become operative on the date City Council Resolution 86-20 becomes effective. SECTION 4. That as of the operative date of this Ordinance, the provisions of Ordinance No. 921 shall to any of the real property described hereto. no longer apply on Exhibit A" SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause a copy of the same to be published in the manner prescribed by law, and forward a copy of the same to the Secretary of the Planning Commission.
