AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING A ZONING
CODE ADMENDMENT TO AMEND SECTION 17.30.070.B.2
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS APPLICANT:
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CASE NO: AZC-107).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine, and declare as follows:
a. That on the 23rd day of April, 1986, the Planning
Commission held a duly noticed public hearing to
consider the adoption of amendments to the Baldwin
Park Zoning Code relating to Planned Development
Standards; and
b. The proposed change provides for the protection of
the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of
Baldwin Park, and
c. The proposed change is consistent with the spirit
and intent of the General Plan.
d. That the City Council conducted a duly noticed
hearing on said matter, and based upon the evidence
presented, it was determined that the public in-
terest, necessity, convenience, and general welfare
required the approval of the Zoning Code amendment,
herein described.
SECTION 2. That Section 17.30.070.B.2 of the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 17.30.070.B.2. Private Open Space: b) Each R-G and R-3 zoned
lot shall have and maintain private open space as required by Section
17.12.50.G."
SECTION 3. That the City Council at the time of the
public hearing on the above matter reviewed and considered the pro-
posed Negative Declaration, and comments relating thereto. That the
City Council, based upon its public review, does hereby approve the
proposed Negative Declaration, since there is no substantial evidence
that the project will have a significant effect on the environment.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause a copy of the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law, and shall forward a copy
of the same to the Secretary of the Planning Commission. The City
Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park shall file the Negative Declaration
of Environmental Impact.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 4th DAY OF June 1986.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 936 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its First Reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 21stday of May 1986. That, thereafter,
said Ordinance was duly approved and adopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 4th day of June 1986 by the following
vote:
