AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
THE BALDWIN PARK MUNICIPAL CODE WITH
REFERENCE TO THE UTILITY USERS TAX
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3.32.210 is hereby added to the Baldwin
Park Municipal Code to read as follows:
3.32.210. Suspension of Tax. That commencing on July 1,
1986, all utility users taxes imposed pursuant to Sections
3.32.080 A, 3.32.090 A, 3.32.100 A, 3.32.110 A, 3.32.120 A and
3.32.130 of this Code, in excess of four percent 4%) of the
charges made for such utility services shall be suspended
during such time as this Section is operative.
This Section shall be operative and in effect from and
after July 1, 1986, through and including June 30, 1987."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in the manner
prescribed by law.
