AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AMENDING
THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO BUDGET
APPROPRIATIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 3.04, entitled Fiscal Affairs",
Section 3.04.070, is hereby amended to read as follows:
3.04.070 Budget—Appropriations. From and after the
effective date of adoption of a budget, the several amounts
stated therein as proposed expenditures, shall be deemed
appropriated to the several departments, offices and agencies
for the respective objects and purposes therein stated. All
appropriations/ with the exception of capital improvement
programs, shall lapse at the end of the fiscal year to the
extent that they shall not have been expended or lawfully
encumbered."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in the manner prescribed
by law.

on the 18th day of June, 1986. That, thereafter, said Ordinance was duly
passed and approved at a regular meeting of the City Council on the
day of 1986, by the following vote:
