AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES
THE
FOLLOWS:
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1. There is hereby added to the Baldwin Park
Municipal Code, Section 10.36.230, to read as follows:
Section 10.36.230 Parking of vehicles for sale or
repair. No person shall park a vehicle upon a public or
private parking lot or area for the purpose of offering the
vehicle for sale.
The prohibitions of this section shall not apply to
any property which is occupied by one who possesses a valid
business license from the city to carry on a commercial
activity upon such real property, which activity includes the
sale and/or repairing of motor vehicles".
Section 2. That the City Clerk
of this ordinance and cause the same
prescribed by law.

I, LINDA L. GAIR, City Clerk of the City of Baldwin Park, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 1st day of October, 1986. That
thereafter, said Ordinance was duly approved and adopted at its
regular meeting of the City Council on the 15th day of October,
1986, by the following vote:
AYES COUNCILMEN GIBSON, IZELL, KING AND MAYOR WHITE
NOES COUNCILMEN NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN McNEILL
