AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ADMENDING THE BALDWIN
PARK MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PARKING OF
VEHICLES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 17.16.190 is hereby added
to the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to read as follows:
Section 17.16.190 Vehicle parking, C" and I"
zones Notwithstanding any other provision of this
code to the contrary, no person shall park or
store any vehicle having a manufactures weight in
excess of 6,000 pounds on any portion of a lot
classified in any of the C" or I" zones, except
in an off-street parking facility or a loading
facility permitted pursuant to this code. Parking
of such vehicles, shall, at all times, be in
compliance with the provisions of this code
relating to the use of such off-street parking
facilities".
SECTION 2. That Section 17.34.230 is hereby added
to the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to rear as follows:
Section 17.34.240. Vehicle Parking-Unimproved Lots
Notwithstanding any other provision of this code
to the contrary, no person shall park or store
any vehicle on any portion of an unimproved lot.

shall mean a lot which has no buildings or
structures there on".
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be
published as required by law.

No. 1001 was regularly introduced and placed upon its
first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council
on November 2, 1988. That, thereafter, said Ordinance was
duly approved and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council on November 16, 1988 by the following vote.
