NO. 1142; CASE NO.: Z-490 AND PM-1182) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine, and declare as follows: a) That an application Application") for a Change of Zone from I, Industrial, to I PD), Industrial Planned Development O',erlay was Submitted by the owners of real property located east of the I 605 Freeway, west of Littlejohn Street, north of Los Angeles Street, at the west end of Spring Street, more particularly described as lot 14 of Parcel Map No. 1142 and b} That pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Planning arid Zoning Law Section 65800 et. seq. of the Government Code of the State of California)1 studies were commenced for the purpose of amending the Zoning Map of the City of Baldwin Park; and c) That a duly noticed public hearing was& held upon said matter by the Planning Commission, and based upon the evidence presented, it determined that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare required that it recommend the approval of the reclassification to I PD); and d) That the City Council conducted a duly noticed hearing on said matter, and based upon the evidence presented, and each member being familiar with the site, it was determined that the public interest, necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the change in zone classification, herein described. SECTION 2. That notwithstanding the provisions of Section 17.54 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, the zoning classification of the property is hereby reclassified from zone I Industrial to I PD). SECTION 3 That the City Council at the time of the public hearing on the above matter reviewed and considered the proposed Negative Declaration, and comments relating thereto. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause a copy of the same to be published as prescribed by law, and shall forward a copy of the same to the Secretary of the Planning Commission.
