AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO PARKING OF TRAILERS, SEMITRAILERS,
TRAILER COACHES, PIPE OR POLE DOLLYS,
SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT, AND
SPECIAL MOBILE EQUIPMENT ON PUBLIC
ROADWAYS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 10.36, entitled Stopping,
Standing, and Parking" consisting of Section 10.36.240, is hereby
added to Title 10 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code to read as
follows:
Section 10.36.240 Parking of trailer. semitrailer.
trailer coach. pipe or pole dolly. special construction
equipment. and special mobile equipment prohibited."
A. No person shall park or leave standing any trailer,
semitrailer, trailer coach, pipe or pole dolly,
special construction equipment, or special mobile
equipment on any city street unless attached to a
vehicle capable of moving the trailer, semitrailer,
trailer coach, pipe or pole dolly, special
construction equipment, or special mobile equipment
in a normal manner upon the street.
B. The provisions of this section shall not apply to
any vehicle owned by a public utility or a licensed
contractor while necessarily in use in the
construction, installation or repair of any public
utility, or to any commercial vehicle actually being
used for the pickup or delivery of goods, wares and
merchandise, or for the delivery of materials to be
used in the repair, alteration, remodeling, or
construction of any building.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published in
the manner prescribed by law.
