AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK RELATING TO TRAFFIC
REGULATION ON PRIVATE PROPERTY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
ORDAIN RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine and declare, as follows:
a) That the owners of certain real property,
which is commercially zoned and used, have made a
formal request to the City, pursuant to Section
21107.6 of the Vehicle Code, for a determination
that the provisions of the Vehicle Code shall apply
to certain privately owned roads which serve the
commercial establishments located on the said real
property; and
b) That the City Council has conducted a
duly noticed public hearing on said matter and
thereafter determined that the provisions of the
Vehicle Code should apply to said private owned and
maintained roads as are hereafter described;
c) That the privately owned and maintained
roads as described on Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference, which are
located within the City, are generally held open to
the public for purposes of vehicular traffic to
serve the commercial establishments as shown on
said Exhibit A.
d) That the public interest, convenience and
necessity require the enactment of this Ordinance.
SECTION Z. That the provisions of the Vehicle Code shall on
and after the effective date of this Ordinance, apply to all
of the private roads shown on said Exhibit A.
SECTION Z. That the provisions of this Ordinance shall not
apply unless and until signs are erected giving notice of
the application thereto of the Vehicle Code, as required
pursuant to said Section 21107.6 of said Vehicle Code.
SECTION A. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be
published in the manner prescribed by law.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1043 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting
of the City Council on August 1, 1990. That thereafter, said
Ordinance was duly approved and adopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council on August 15 1990, by the following vote:
