A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE
VACATION OF PORTIONS OF CORAK STREET IN
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941," the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
did, on the 3rd day of December, 1962, adopt its Resolution of
Intention No, 62-230, declaring its intention to vacate portions of Corak
Street, in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, described as follows:
Parcel No, 2: That portion of Corak Street 60
feet wide) as shown on and dedicated by map of
Tract No. 11499, in the City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as
per map recorded in Book 207, page 20 and 21 of
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County, lying northwesterly of the south-
easterly lines of lots 18 and 7 of said Tract No,
11499.
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published
and notice of street vacation duly posted, all in the form, place, time
and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, at the hearing designated by said
Resolution of Intention, on the 7th day of January, 1963, heard all of
the evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does FIND, DETERMINE, RESOLVE and ORDER, as follows:
Section That from all of the evidence submitted, the
above described portions of Corak Street are unnecessary for present
or prospective public street purposes, and this City Council hereby
orders that the said portions of Corak Street be, and they hereby are,
vacated for public street purposes,
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause a certified
copy thereof, attested by her under the seal of the City to be
