A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK ORDERING THE
VACATION OF RALL AVENUE IN THE CITY OF
BALDWIN PARK.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941," the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park did,
on the 3rd day of December, 1962, adopt its Resolution of Intention
No. 62-231, declaring its intention to vacate Rail Avenue in the City
of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, de-
scribed as follows:
Parcel No, 1: All of Rail Avenue 30 feet wide)
as shown on and dedicated by the map of Tract
No. 11499, in the City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, recorded in
book 207, pages 20 and 21 of Maps, in the office of
the County recorder of said county.
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published
and notice of street vacation duly posted all in the form, place,
time and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, this City Council, at the hearing designated by said
Resolution of Intention, on the 7th day of January, 1963, heard all of
the evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does FIND, DETERMINE, RESOLVE and ORDER, as follows:
Section 1, That from all of the evidence submitted, the
above described property is unnecessary for present or prospective
public street purposes, and this City Council hereby orders that the
said Rail Avenue be, and it hereby is, vacated for public street
purposes.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause a certified copy
thereof, attested by her under the seal of the City to be recorded in
