A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING
A ZONE VARIANCE AT 14425 ADOUE PLACE
JACQUES ZV-69)
The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does resolve
as folIows:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That an application for a zone vari ance, on certain
real property, located at 14425 Adoue Place, City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, Zone C-l, more particularly
described as follows:
That portion of Lot 77 of Tract No. 899, Rancho La
Puente, in the City of Baldwin Park, as per map recorded
in Book 18 Page 95 of Maps, in the office of the County
recorder of said county, described as follews;
Beginning at a point in the northeasterly line of said lot,
distant thereon South 48° 25' 50" East 170.00 feet from the
most northerly corner of said lot; thence cont inuing South
48° 25' 50" East 102.00 feet to the northerly corner of the
I and conveyed to Sylvan A. Jacques, et ux, by deed recorded
in November 6, 1958 as Instrument No. 1404 in Book D-267
page 404 of Official Records of said county; thence along
the northwesterly line of said land of Jacques, South 41 52'
20" West 80.57 feet, more or less, to the westerly corner of
said land of Jacques, said corner also being in a curve in
the northerly line of the land conveyed to Baldwin Home, Inc.,
a corporation, by deed recorded on August 22, 1958 as
Instrument No. 1154 in Book D-194 Page 279 of Official
Records of said county; said curve being concave southerly
and having a radius of 60.00 feet, a radial line to said
point bears North 55° 521 55" East; thence westerly along
said curve 6.65 feet to the westerly terminus thereof:
thence continuing along said northerly line of said land
of Baldwin Homes, Inc., North 62° 27' 40" West 55.82 feet
and North 48° 25' 50" West 62.64 feet to a line that bears
North 41° 52' 20" East and passes through the point of be-
ginning; thence North 41° 52' 20" East 90.00 feet to the
point of beg inn i ng
To permit the construction of multiple family units in a C-l Zone; and to
permit such unit to be constructed with a 10' rear yard.
b) That the Planning Commission, on the 6th day of December,
1962, held a duly noticed public hearing on said application, and thereafter,
by its Resolution No. 981, denied said application;
c) That thereafter, appileant filed a timely appeal, from
the decision of the Planning Commission, to the City Council;

1963 013 CC RESOºK é d5 That the said City Council held a duly noticed public
hearing on said appeal.
e) That the evidence adduced at the hearing before the CounciI,
indicates that a proper factual showing for a zone vari ance wi th in the
meaning of Section 9120»11 of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code has been
made.
SECTION 2. That a zone variance be, and the same hereby is,
granted, on the above described real property, to permit the construction
of a multiple family dwelling in a C-l Zone, and to permit said unit to
be constructed with a 10" foot rear yard, and a 10' foot front yard setback
provided that said construction comply, in all other respects to the
requirements of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 5, That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and forward copies hereof to the applicant, and to
the Secretary of the Planning Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2fst day of January, 1965.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park at
its regular meeting on the 21st day of January, 1963, by the following
