A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK
COMMENDING THE 48TH NATIONAL ORANGE SHOW
WHEREAS, the opening of the 48th National Orange Show will be
celebrated on March 14, 1965; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park wishes to commend this fine
organization for its years of outstanding and interesting presentations;
and
WHEREAS, the National Orange Show annually pays tribute to the
hardy pioneers of the Citrus Industry who contributed so greatly to the
wealth and welfare of our great State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Citrus Industry is a major factor in the economy
of this State; and
WHEREAS, the National Orange Show has long served as the showcase
of this industry and its personnel;
NOV. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK that on behalf of the City of Baldwin Park it
does hereby commend the fine work of the National Orange Show and does pay
honor to the Citrus Growers, Packers and all of our citizens affiliated in
citrus production/ and Joins with them in anticipation of its continued
prosper i ty and development.
