A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BALCWIN PARK COM-
MENDING THE HONORABLE PHILIP L.
SOTO ASSEMBLYMAN 50TH ASSEMBLY
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, The Honorable Philip L. Soto, at the request of the
City of Baldwin Park sponsored AB 2ll2; and
WHEREAS, by reason of his efforts said bill was unanimously
adopted by the Assembly and the Senate of the Legislature of the State
of California, and
WHEREAS, the adoption of said bill will result in a saving of
approximately one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in the cost of con-
struction of facilities Sn Assessment District 61-A-I,
NOAf, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That The Honorable Philip L. Soto is hereby com-
mended for his efforts in behalf of the citizens of Baldwin Park.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall forward a copy thereof to The Honorable Philip
L, Soto.
