A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF ITS MEMBERS TO
FILE WRITTEN ARGUMENTS FOR AND AGAINST
A CITY MEASURE
WHEREAS, a special municipal election 2s to be held in
the City of Baldwin Park on August 20, 1965, at which there will be
submitted to the qualified electors of said City the following city
measure:
Referendum. Shall Ordinance Number 241
of the City of Baldwin Park, which rezones
certain therein described real property
from Zones A-I and M-l to Zones R-l and C-2
denominated Zone Change Case No. nZ-^2y
be adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows;
SECTION I. That this City Council, being the legislative
body of the City of Baldwin Park, hereby authorizes
Mayor Bloxham to file an argument in favor
of the above described City measure; and
Councilman Morehead to file an argument
against said City measure,
in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 5, Division 4 of the Elections
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 26 day of June
1963.
