A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND DETER-
MINING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT
BEEN MADE WITH REFERENCE TO ANNEXATION
NO, 15
The City Council of t-he City of Baldwin Park does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as
follows:
a) That on the 5th day of June, 1963, the said
Council duly adopted Resolution No, 63"71 initiating
annexation proceedings, relating to the real property as
described in said resolution, designated as Annexation
No, 1^
b) That the Planning Commission of the City
of Baldwin Park has heretofore approved the said annexation.
c) That on the 17th day of July, 1963, at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. the said Council, pursuant to
legal notice earlier given, held a public hearing for the
purpose of hearing and passing on written protests to said
Annexation.
d) That a majority protest within the meaning
of Section 35300 et seq. of the Government Code has not been
made.
e) The public interest does not require that any
change be made in the boundaries of *'hc annexation as proposed
SECTION 2. That a majority protest not having
been made, the City Attorney is hereby directed to prepare
an Ordinance accomplishing the annexation in the manner
prescribed by law.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this resolution.
