Increased liability insurance cost budgeted for renewal at Hummer Insurance. When new bids were asked for and re- ceived the cost was increased by $6,400.00. Budgeted personnel was increased by one inspector and it was nec- essary to employ the Engineering firm of H. L. Johnson on an in- terim basis. This was a new department for the fiscal year 1962-63 and the budgeted amount was not realistic. The work program was greater than budgeted and personnel was transferred from Signs and Striping. Costs were not fully budgeted on Big Dalton, Stockdale, Clydewood, Vineland and Ahern projects. Additional repairs not anticipated. Ambulance Charges- not determinable at any time.
