RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DENYING AN APPLI-
CATION FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO
OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A PRIVATE HELIPORT
CASE NO. CP-15-McKNIGHT CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN P-
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of thfe City
o£ BaldwinNj?ark: does hereby find/ determine and/declare
as follows:\ /
a)\ That an application was duly made by the
owners of certain real property located at jL4913 East
Ramona Boulevard, in the City of Baldwin P/ark, County of
Los Angeles, Sta^-.e of California, said property being
more fully and adequately described in t^ne said applica-
tion filed on behalf of the McKnight Construction Com-
pany, to which reference is hereby mad^, and
b) That \he Planning Corrvhission has hereto-
fore conducted a duly\ noticed public hearing concerning
said application, and \>y its resolution number PC-63-116
has recommended to the C^ty counciA, that the said appli-
cation be approved, and a conditional use permit issued,
upon certain terms and conditiptis as therein contained,
and \ /
c) That the individual members of the City
Council have examined the proposed site, as described in
the application for said conditional use permit, and
have conducted a duly noticed punlic hearing concerning
said application? and / \
d) That aar a result of the evidence adduced
at said public hearing before the^City Council, and based
upon the independent^ examination o&, the site by members
of the Council, it: appears to the Council that the pro-
posed use will not' be compatible witri other existing and
potential uses within the general area; it further ap-
pears that the 9ite for the proposed use is inadequate
in size and sh^pe, ana that said propostea use will have
an adverse affect upon adjacent properties.
SECTION 2, That the appiicatio^ for a condi-
tional use-'permit to operate and maintain heliport at
14913 East' Ramona Boulevard in the City of A^ldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California b^, and the
same hereby is, denied fur the reasons hereinabove set
forth.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING AN APPLI-
CATION FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO
OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A PRIVATE HELIPORT
CASE NO. CP-15; McKNIGHT CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS s
SECTION That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as
follows:
a) That an application was duly made joy the
owners of certain real property, located at 14913 East Ramona
Boulevard, in the city of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, said property eing more fully described
in the said application, which is on file in the office of the
Secretary of the Planning Commission, and to which reference
is hereby made? and
b) That the Planning Commission has heretofore
conducted a duly noticed public hearing concdrning said
application, and by its Resolution No, PC-63-116, has
recommended to the City Council that the said application
be approved, and that a conditional use permit be issued on
certain terms and conditions as therein contained; and
c) That the individual members of the City
Council have examined the proposed site, as described in the
application for said conditional use permit, and have con-
ducted a duly noticed public hearing concerning the said
application? and
u) That it appears to the City Council that the
conditional use permit, if issued, subject to certain con-
ditions of approval, would be compatible with surrounding
existing and potential uses.
SECTION 2. That the application for a conditional
use permit, to operate and maintain a heliport, as herein-
above described, be, and the same hereby is, granted upon
the terms and conditions as hereinafter set forth:
a) That the applicant shall construct a
heliport, in conformance with the plot plan as
submitted and approved by the City Council," and
the area on said plot plan designated as the
Dust-Palliative Area" shall be a minimum of
95 feet in diameter? and
b) That all lighting or illumination
shall be arranged so as to be directed away

c) That the applicant shall install
and construct as soon as is possible the
fencing as shown on the said plot plan? and
d) That all flammable material be
maintained outside of the area designated as
Landing and Takeoff Area" on said plot
plan? and
e) That all areas included within the
heliport/ as shown on the plot plan/ shall be
maintained, at all times, in a neat and or-
derly condition? and
f) The area designated as Landing
and Takeoff Area" shall be maintained in a
dust free condition at all times? and
g) That the said heliport shall be oper-
ated and maintained under, and in strict com-
pliance with/ all applicable laws imposed by
this City and any other governmental agency
and jurisdiction relating to the said operation;
and
h) That this conditional use permit
shall be in full force and effect for a period
of 6 months from and after the effective date
of this resolution/ and at the end of said six
month period the city Council shall conduct a
further public hearing, after giving notice in
the same manner as is required for the original
application for a conditional use permit/ and
shall thereupon determine whether the heliport,
as operated/ has been rendered/ by the imposition
of the above conditions, compatible with the
surrounding properties/ and if the Council so
finds, it may extend the term of this conditional
use permit for such period as it deems appropriate
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this resolution and shall forward copies
hereof to the applicant and to the Secretary of the Planning
Commission.
