A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT FOR A MOTEL AND RESTAURANT. CASE CP-15)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That an application was duly made by the
owners of certain real property hereinafter described,
for a conditional use permit in order to construct
and operate a motel and restaurant use in the C-l
zone contain Ing thirty-one 51) uni ts; and
b) That said real property is located at
15400 East Garvey Avenue, City of Baldwin Park,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, more
particularly described as portions of Lots 9
through 14 of Block C of Tract No. 11007 as shown
on that certain map recorded in Book 195 at Pages
22 and 25 of Maps on file in the office of the
Recorder of said County; and
c5 That the Planning Commission and City
Council have heretofore held duly noticed pubiic
hearings, with reference to said application; and
d) That the Planning Commission, by its
Resolution No. PC 65-142, has recommended that said
conditional use permit be granted, upon certain
terms and conditions as therein contained.
SECTION 2. That the conditional use permit, as
hereinabove described, be, and the same hereby is, granted upon
the following terms and conditions:
a) That the applicant shall construct and
install curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveway approaches
and paving hookup, on all street frontages of said
property, in compi lance with Cdy specifications therefor;
and
b5 That the applicant submit, for approval,
to the City Engineer, a grading plan, prior to the
issuance of any building permit with reference to
the subjeci- property; and
c) That the development, in at I respects, sha1I
conform to the plot plan dated September 11, 1965, as
approved by the City Council; and
td) That no buUding permit" for any building or
structure proposed to be erected on said property, shall
be issued until the applicant has signed a,-: affidavit
indicating that he has read al{ of the conoEtiono of
approval imposed by this resolution and that the same
are acceptable to him.

adoption of this resolution, and shall forward copies hereof
to the Secretary of the Planning Commission and to the applicant,
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6 day of November
965.
