A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DENYING AN APPLI-
CATION FOR A ZONE CHANGE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. That tne City Council of the Ci^y of
Baldwin parK does hereoy find, determine and oeciare as
follows;
a) That an application was duly made for a
change in zone from Zone A-l to Zone C-2 on certain real
property located in the City of Baldwin Paric, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as is more particularly
described in Planning Commission Resolution No. PC63-93?
and
b) That a duly no-ciced public hearing was held
before the Planning Commission of said city with respect
to said zone change application, designated as Case No.
C-182? and
c) Tnat thereafter the Planning Commission
recommended to the City Council that said zone change be
approved; a nd
d) That thereafter tn& City Council conducted
a duly noticed public hearing with respect to said applica-
tion, and determined that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare did not require such change in zoning
regulations ana thereafter referred the matter to the
Planning Commission for a report? ana
e) That the Planning Commission oy its Resolu-
tion No. PC63*"168 has made its said report to the City
Council.
SECTION 2, That tne said zone change application,
above described, designated as Zone change No, Z-lb2 be,
and th<^ same hereby is, denied for the reason that the pub-
lic necessity, convenience and general welfare do not re-
quire such property to be reclassified from Zone A-l to
Zone C-2.
SECTION 3. That the City ClerK shall certify to
tne adoption of this resolution and forward copies hereof
to the Secretary of the Planning Commission and to the
applicant.
PASSED AND APPROVED this U day of December
1963.
