A RESOLUT80N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK, COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
MAKING FINDINGS AND OVERRULING PRO-
TESTS AND OBJECTIONS AND ORDERING THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK TO CONSTRUCT CURBS,
GUTTERS AND S^DEKft^S IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK STANDARD
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS CONFORMING WITH
EXISTING CURBS, GUTTERS AND SjceBteMcKSc
CONSTRUCTED UPON THEM FACING on the
east side of Vineland Avenue
between Durness Street and the
San Bernardino Freeway.
WHEREASp pursuant to the improvement Act of 1911, Division 7, Part 3,
Chapter 27 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, having
to do with the construction of xJcdBue^kcac, gutters and curbs In front of prop-
erty, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park in Resolution No. 65-198
made a finding that more than 50% of the lots facing on the east side of
Vineland Avenue between Durness Street and the San Bernardino
Freeway.
Had completed curbs, gutters and yWWXTOS in front of them; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by said ResoBution No. 65-198 directed
the Superintendent of Streets to notify owners or possessors of the lots with-
in this block which did not have curbs, gutters and SilKfiswasWfc on them to con-
struct them according to the City of Baldwin Park standard plans and specifica-
tions; and thereupon, the Superintendent of Streets, In compI lance with this
resolution mailed and posted said notices which described the work to be done
and specified that on the l^th day of January_____^ 19, 66 at
8:00 P>M. jn f.he Council Chambers in the City Hall, located at 14405 E.
Pacific Avenue, Balckwin Park, CaBIfornIa, a hearing would be held by the Council
of the City of Bal<^1n Park to pass upon objections or protests, if any, to
notices of work to be done by the owners of property involved or other interested
persons; and
WHEREAS,____Q____ protests being made at this hearing held at
the above designated time and piace,
NW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park as follows^

Section I, That all protests and objections are hereby overruled,
Section 2. The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Baldwin Park
is hereby ordered to construct curbs, gutters and 5cbrtW9cfcte? in accordance with
the City of Baldwin Park standard plans and specifications on the front of alt
lots facing on the east side of Vineland Avenue between Durness
Street and the San Bernardino Freeway.
which have not been constructed or upon which construction has not been commenced
and diIigently worked upon within sixty 60) days of the mail ing and posting of
the notices to construct; and that when this work is completed he shall notify
the City Council of the fact of completion so that a date for a hearing of pro-
tests to the report of the completed work may be set; and upon completion of the
work he shall prepare a report of work which will include I) work done 2) cost
3) description of the property in front of which it was done and 4) the assess-
ment against each lot or parcel which may include a number of parcels of prop-
erty whether contiguous to each other or not, which report shall be made ready
to be presented to the Council at the date set for the hearing on the report of
the completed work,
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this resolution and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.
