A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DENYING
AN APPLICATION FOR A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT. APPLICANT: JEANETTE
HEIDTKE; CASE NO. CP-62)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as
follows:
a) That the owners of certain real
property located at 3156 Paddy Lane in said
City, County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
fornia more particularly described as:
Lot 11 of Tract 24088, as per map
recorded in Book 666, at page 61 et
seq. of Maps, in the office of the
Recorder of said County,
have heretofore made an application for a
conditional use permit to allow the maintenance
of a guest home for aged ambulatory persons in
an R-l zone; and
b) That said application was the subject
of a duly noticed public hearing before the
Board of Zoning Adjustments of said City, which
said Board upon completion of said hearing
denied the application for the reasons stated
in the said Board's Resolution No. BZA65-69; and
c) That the applicant filed a timely
notice of appeal, appealing the decision of the
Board to the City Council; and
d) That the said City Council conducted
a duly noticed public hearing upon said appli-
cation, and based upon the evidence so presented,
and each member of the Council being familiar
with the site, determined that the decision of
the Board of Zoning Adjustments should be upheld
as the facts required by Section 9473 of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code were not shown to
exist, in that the said proposed use would have
an adverse effect upon other properties and uses
located in the immediate vicinity thereof and
that the characteristics of the proposed use are
not consistent with the zoning regulations
applicable to the R-l zoned property within the
City.
SECTION 2. That the hereinabove described conditional
use permit application be, and the same hereby is, denied.

SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this Resolution and forward a copy hereof
to the applicant and to the Secretary of the Board of
Zoning Adjustment,
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this I9th day of January 1966.
