HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966 020 CC RESO1966 020 CC RESOxJÖfRESOLUTION NO. 66-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A HEARING TO DETER- MINE WHETHER CERTAIN BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCES THE CtTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: a) That pursuant to Section 3200 et. seq. of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, the Chief Administrative Officer has heretofore conducted an investigation and has recommended that the City Council conduct a public hearing to determine whether certain premises, and buildings and structures located thereon, constitute public nuisances, within the meaning of Section 5200 et, seq. of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code; b) That the premises to which said report relates are described as follows: 1. The property located at 12828 Duthie Street, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, the northwesterly 47 feet of Lot 297 and the northwesterly 47 feet of Lot 292 of Tract No. 10104 in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 142, pages 62 through 64 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County. N-15) 2. The property located at 13415 Valle Vista Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, the easterly 56 feet of Block K of Lot 55 and Block J of Lot 55 of Valley View Acres in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 12, pages 86 and 87 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County. N-14) 5. The property located at 15441 Valle Vista Avenue, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California/ the westerly 10 feet of the southerly 158 feet of Block F of Lot 52 and the southerly 158 feet of Block G of Lot 55 of Valley View Acres in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 12, pages 86 and 87 of Maps in the Office of the Recorder of said County. EXCEPT that portion thereof in street right-of-way. N-15) 4. The property located at 12855 Waltham Street, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, the northwesterly 25 feet of Lot 267 and Lot 268 of Tract No. 10104 in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 142, pages 62 through 64 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County. N-t6) 5. The property located at 12841 Wattham Street, City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, the northwesterly 50 feet of Lot 266 and the southeasterly 25 feet of Lot 267 of Tract No. 10104 in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 142, pages 62 through 64 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County. N-17) c) That the said City Council has accepted the recommenda- tion of the Chief Administrative Officer, and does hereby de- clare its intent to conduct a public hearing to determine whether the said premises, above described, constitute public nufsances, within the meaning of Section 5200 et. seq. of the Baldwin Park Mun ic ipal Code. That February 16, 1966, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as can be heard, at the Council Chamber in the City Hat I at 14405 East Pacific Avenue, Baldwin Park, is hereby designated as the time and place for the public hearings to determine whether the premises herein described constitute public nuisances within the meaning of said Section 5200 et. seq. of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code. SECTION 5. That the Chief Administrative Officer is hereby instructed to give notice of the public hearing to be conducted with regard to the premises, hereinabove described, as set forth in Section 5200 et. seq. of said Baldwin Park Municipal Code. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and cause a copy hereof to be forwarded to the Chief Administrative Officer.
