SOLfJTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY
OF BALDVIN PAW CO/WAEM31NG SUPERVISOR FRANK
G, BONELLI FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THE STATE
AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Honorable Frank G, Bonelii has devoted
almost twenty years of service to State, County and
Municipal government in Cali forni a; and
WHEREAS, these years of service have included
positions as Councilman, including a term as Mayor, of the
City of Huntingfon Park, California, 1946-1955; member of
the California State Assembly from the 52nd Assembly
District, 1955-1958; and member of the Los Ange(es County
Board of Supervisors, including a term as Chairman, 1958
to the present time; and
V/HEF^AS, Supervisor Frank G. Boneili, through his
conscientious efforts to resolve the varied and complex
problems of State and tocal government, has won the support
and respect of his constituents; and
HEREAS^ Supervisor Frank G, Bone I It has consistently
advocated the need for greater efficiency and economy in
government at aiI levels;
NCW^ THEREFORE^ BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Baldwin Park hereby expresses its
sincere appreciation to Supervisor Frank G. Bonelli for
his dedicated efforts toward the orderly growth and develop-
ment of local, county and State government in California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the actopfion of this resolution and sha^ I transmit
a certified copy thereof to Frank G. Bonel!*, Member of Board
of Supervt sors.
