A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL GF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND DETERfAlN|NS THAT
THE PUBLIC INTEREST, CONVENIENCE AW NECESSITY
REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF A CEWAIN RIGHT-OF-
WAY FOR PUBLIC SEWER PURPOSES A^ ALL USES
APPURTENANT THERETO. RE; TRACT29417)
THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY CF BALDWIN PARK DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION t. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare that the
public Interest, convenience and necessity require the acquisition
by the City of Baldwin Park of right-of-way over certain herein-
after described real property for public sewer purposes and all
uses appurtenant thereto.
That the location of said right-of-way has been planned
and located in a manner which will be most compatible with the
greatest public good and the least private Injury.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of
Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare that it
is the Intention of said City of Baldwin Park to acquire in its
name the right-of-way In, over, under, along and across said
hereinafter described real property by a proceeding In condemna-
tion In accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil
Procedure of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That said right-of-way, herelnabove referred to,
the acquisition of which is required by said public Interest, con-
venience and necessity for the purposes set forth In SECTION 1
hereof, is located in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los
Angelas, State of California, and is more particularly described
as followft:
The easterly 5 feet of the westerly 120 feet of the northerly
50 feet of Lot 50 of Valley View Acms, In the City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 12 pages 86 and 87 of Maps, In the office of
the County Recorder of said county, Baca)
The easterly 5 feet of the westerly 20 feet of the southerly 71.7
feet of the north half of Lot 50 of Valley View Acres, in the City
of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 12 pages 86 and 87 of A\aps, In the office of
the County Recorder of said county. Benson)
SECTION 4. That the City Attorney of the City of
Baldwin Park Is hereby authorized and directed to prepare,
Institute and prosecute, in the name of the City of Baldwin Park,
such proceedings, in the proper court having Jurisdiction there-
of, as may be necessary for the acquisition of said right-of-
way in, over, under, along and across the said real property
described in SECTION 3 hereof. Said City Attorney is also
directed to obtain the necessary Order of court granting to the
City of Baldwin Park the right of Immediate occupancy and the
possession of said right-of-way,
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
