A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECIARING ITS INTEN-
TION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS,
GUTTERS AND SIDEWALKS PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FIND, DETERMINE AND DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of
the curbs, gutters and sidewalks have been con-
structed on the following area:
1) North side of Foster between Baldwin
Park Boulevard and Sparland.
b) That it is the intention of the City
Council to cause curbs, gutters and sidewalks
to be constructed^ at the sole expense of the
owners of properties in and along said above
described area, pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to give
proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to
the owner or owners of the property described herein, as required by
said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code,
SECTION 3o That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council
does hweby order that on the 16th day of March, 1966^ at 8:00 P,M»
or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers,
the City Council will hear and pass upon any and all objections or pro-
tests to the ordering of the construction of curbs, gutters and sidewalks
in the area above described,
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and
protests,
SiCTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendent,
ADOPTED and PASSED this 161-h_____day of February
1966^
