HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966 043 CC RESO1966 043 CC RESOxJÕARESOLUTION NO. 66-43 A RESOLUTION OF THE CTtS COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTEN- TION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS, COTTERS AND SIDEWALKS PURSUANT TO THE PRO- VISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does here FIND, DETERMINE AND DECLARE as follows: a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of the curbs, gutters and sidewalks have been con- structed on the following area: 1) North side of Foster between Sparland and Frazier, b) That it ia the intention of the City Council to cause curbs, gutters and sidewalks to be con- structed, at the sole expense of the owners of properties in and along said above described area, pursuant to Section 5870 ec seq of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 2, The Street Superintendent is instructed to give proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the owner or owners of the property described herein, as required by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does hereby order that on the 16th day of March, 1966, at 8:00 P.M, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, the City Council will hear and ppss upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the construction of curbs, gutters and sidewalks in the area above described. SECTION 4. That all protests naist be in writing and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and protests, SECTION 5, That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendent, 1966.
