HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966 044 CC RESO1966 044 CC RESOxJÕGRESOLUTION NO. 66-44 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DENYING A TENTATIVE TRACT MAP FOR TENTATIVE TRACT NO. 25251, LOCATION: WEST OF CENTER STREET, EAST OF THE LOS ANGELES WATER AND POWER RIGHT-OF-WAY, AND APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET NORTH OF DUN(A STREET, THE ADDRESS BE(NG 4705 CENTER STREET. APPLICANT: VELMA CHRISTOPHER. AGENT: D. A- VAN OENE.) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION *, That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows: a. That the owners of certain real property located in the City of Baldwin Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as more particularly described on the Tentative Tract Map for Tentative Tract 25251, have filed a Tentative Tract Map pursuant to the provisions o? the Baldwin Park Muncipal tode and the State Subdivision Map Act; and b. That this subdivision will create six 6) lots utiliz- ing approximately 1.5 acres of land; and c. That the property is zoned R—l. d. That this subdivision is located within Sewer District No. 62-A-t. e. That the water service is supplied by the Valley View Mutual Water Company. f. That the electric facilities within this genera) area are supplied by the Southern California Edison Company. g. That the Southern Counties Gas Company supplies the gas requirements for this general area. h. That the proposed street pattern does not conform to the Community Design Study of the General Plan. SECTION 2. That the Tentative Tract Map tor Tr^ct No. 25251, as described above, is hereby denied for the following reasons: a- That the Tentative Tract Map does not show a street pattern sufficient to service the proposed lots either as to width or as to the location thereof. Section f805 of the Streets and Highway Code requires that all city streets must be 40 feet in width, b. That there is a need for proper easements for domest;c water supply and drainage purposes in, over, under, along and across the properties included within the above described subdivision; and that said easements were not taken into account in the development of this proposed subdivision for the protection of future owners of the property within said subdivision as well as to the adjacent and surround i ng proper 11 es. c. That the proposed subdivision would create a serious problem of ingress and egress for emergency vehicles. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adop- tion of this resolution and shall cause copies hereof to be sent to the Secretary of th^ Planning Commission and to the subdtvider.
