DETERMINING 1>t EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC
NUISANCE AND ORDERING TME SAfAE ABATED

TME CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLD
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION t. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine end declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 5200 et. seq. of the
Baldwin Park Municipal Code, proceedings have been
initiated to determine whether certain premises, and
buildings and structures thereon, constitute a pubtic
nuisance; and
b) That the property, which is the subject of
such proceedings Is located at 4641 Merced Avenue,
in said City, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
more particularly described as
Lot 98, except the North 60 ft. of the East 218 ft.
of said lot, in Tract 4624, as per map recorded in
Book 68, Page 35 of maps, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County; and
c) That a duty noti ced pubt ic hear i ng having
been conducted, pursuant t-o Section 5205 et' se<!* of
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to determine whether
the buildings and structures on said property. In
their present state, constitute a public nuisance; and
d) That as a result of the evidence presented
at said hearing, it was determined that the same does
constItute a pub lie nui sance, and that the public
interest require^ that the same be abated.
SECTION That if the owners of said property, or
others having an interest therein, do not abate said nuisance by
removing the buildings, structures and tebris frorr* said property.
within thirty 50) days hereof, the Chief Administrative Officer
is instructed to abate the same, as provided in Section 5208 et.^seq.
of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and forward copies hereof as prescribed
by the Baldwin Park Municipal Code-
19 66.
