A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK FINDING AND
DETERMINING THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC
NUISANCE AND ORDERING THE SAME ABATED
CASE NO. N-13, 12828 DUTHtE STREET)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does hereby find, determine and declare as follows:
a) That pursuant to Section 5200 et. seq. of the
Ba1dwi n Park Muni ci pa f Code, proceed!ngs have been
initiated to determine whether certain premises, and
but Idi ngs and structures thereon, const itute a public
nut sance; and
b) That t he property, whi ch i s the subject of
such proceedings is located at 12828 Duthie Street in said
City, County of Los Angeles, State of California, more
particularly described as
The property located at 12828 Duthie Street, City of Baldwin
Park, County of Los Angeles, State of California, the north-
westerly 47 feet of Lot 297 and the northwesterly 47 feet of
Lot 292 of Tract No. 10104 in the City of Baldwin Park, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 142, pages 62 through 64 of Maps in the office of the
Recorder of said County.
c) That a duly noticed public hearing having
been conducted, pursuant to Section 5^05 et- sec!1 of
the Baldwin Park Municipal Code, to determine whether
the buildings and structures on said property, in
their present state, constitute a public nuisance; and
d) That as a result of the evidence presented
at said hearing, it was determined that the same does
constitute a public nuisance, and that the public
i nterest requi res that the same be abated.
SECTION 2. That if the owners of said property, or
others having an interest therein, do not abate said nuisance by
removing the buildings, structures and debris from said property,
within thirty 50) days hereof, the Chief Adninistrative Officer
is instructed to abate the same, as provided in Section 5208 et. seq.
of the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and forward copies hereof as prescribed
by the Baldwin Park Municipal Code.
