A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS 1WEN-
TtON TO CAUSE THE CONSTRJCTION OF CURBS^
GUTTERS AND SIDB^/ALKS PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS CF SECTION 5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS
AND hHGWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does here FIND, DETERMINE AND DECLARE as follows;
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of the
curbs, gutters and sidewalks have been constructed on
the following area:
1) West Side of La Rica Avenue between
Palm Avenue and Los Angeles Street.
b) That it is the intention of the City Council
to cause curbs, gutters and sidewalks to be constructed,
at the sole expense of the owners of properties in and
along said above described area, pursuant to Section
5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of Calt form a.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to give
proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the
ower or owners of the property described herein, as required by said
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code,
SECTION 5. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council doea hereby
order that on the 6th day of April, 1966, at 8:00 P.M, or as soon there-
after as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, the City Counci
will hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering
of the construction of curbs, gutters and sidewalks in the area above
described.
SECTION 4, That all protests must be in writing and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and
protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendent.
