A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEV/ALKS PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECT ION 5870 ET SEQ OF
THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CCOE CF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PAW OOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does here FIND, DETERMINE AND DECLARE as follows;
a) That more than fifty 50) per cent of the
sidewalks have been constructed on the following area;
I) Easterly side of Baldwin Park
Boulevard between Foster Avenue and
Franclsqulto Avenue,
b) That It is the intention of the City Council
to cause sidewalks to be constructed, at the sole expense
of the owners of properties in and along said above des-
cribed area/ pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is Instructed to give
proper notice to construct said Improvements, above described, to the
ower or owers of the property described herein, as required by said
Section 5970 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code,
SECTION 3, That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does hereby
order that on the 6th day of April, 1966, at 8;00 PaA'\» or as soon there-
after as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, the City
Council will hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to the
ordering of the construction of sidewalks In the area above described.
SECTION 4, That all protests must be in writing and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and
protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this r^sotution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendent.

that he is the duly appointed, qualified and acting Superintendent
of Streets for the City of Baldwin Park, and that pursuant to
Resolution No. 66-53 of the Council of the City of Baldwin
Park, State of California, he on the llth day of March
19 66 mailed or caused to be mailed copies of the Notice to
Construct to the property ocners which notices involved are
annexed hereto and made a part hereof.
