A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE
CITY 0=" BALDWIN PAW DECLARING ITS IWEN-
TION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION CF SIDE-
WALKS PURSUAW TO THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 5870 CT SEQ OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CCDE OF THE STATE CF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does here FIND, DETERMINE AND DECLARE as follows:
a) That more thant fifty 50%) per cent of the
sidewalks have been constructed on the following area;
I) Easterly side of Baldwin Park
Boulevard between Foster Avenue and
Merced Avenue.
b) That It is the intention of the City Council
to cause sidewalks to be constructed, at the sole expense
of the owners of properties In and along said above
described area, pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent Is Instructed to give
proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the owner
or ownere of the property described herein, as required by said Section
5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 5. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does hereby
order that on the 6th day of April, 1966, at 8:00 P,M» or as soon there-
after as the matter can be heard. In the Council Chambers, the City Council
will hear and pass upon and all objections or protests to the ordering of
the construction of sidewalks In the area above described.
SECTION 4, That all protests must be In writing and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the time for set for hearing 6f objections
protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 2nd day of March______,
1966.
