A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CiOlftlCIL OF THE
CITY OF BALDWIN PARK AUTHORIZING Att
ESTIMATE OF POPULATION OF THE CITY QV
BALDWIN PARK BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF
FINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Baldwin Park can actually show, as
a result of a Special State Department of Finance Population
Estimate as of April 1, 1965, a population of 43,850 and
WHEREAS, a procedure has been devised whereby the State
Department of Finance may estimate a city's population growth
for the purpose of allocating State subventions and grants, and
WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission released
figures estimating the City of Baldwin Park's population as of
January 1, 1966, at 43,829,
IT IS, THEREFORE. RESOLVED THAT;
SECTION 1. The State Department of Finance is hereby
authorized to conduct a special survey to determine a popu-
lation estimate for the City of Baldwin Park as of April 1.1966.
with the cost for said services to be based on actual time
spent in the performance of said survey.
SECTION 2, A sum not to exceed $325.00 is hereby
allocated for this purpose.
SECTION 3. The Mayor and appropriate City officials
are authorized to execute an agreement on behalf of the City of
Baldwin Park with the State Department of Finance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this nd day of March, 1966.

of Baldwin Park at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of
