A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF CURBS, GUTTERS AND SIDEWALKS
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
5870 ET SEQ OF THE STREETS AND HIGH-
WAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park
does here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of
the curbs, gutters and sidewalks have been
constructed on the following area:
I) East side of Syracuse Avenue between
Waltham Street and Bess Avenue.
b) That it is the intention of the City Council to
cause curbs, gutters, and sidewalks to be constructed,
at the sole expense of the owners of properties in and
along said above described area, pursuant to Section 5870
et seq of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
Cat? fornia.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to give
proper notice to construct said improvements, above described, to the owner
or owners of the property described herein, as required by said Section
5870 ef seq of he Streets and'HIghways Code.
SECTION 5. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council does hereby
order that on the 20th day of April, 1966, at 8:00 P.M. or as soon there-
after as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, the City Council
will hear and pass upon any and all objections or protests to the ordering
of the construction of curbs, gutters and sidewalks in the area above des"
cr ibed.
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and filed with
the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing of objections and
protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the Street Superintendent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 16th day of March_____, 1966.

that he is the duly appointed, qualified and acting Superintendent
of Streets for the City of Baldwin Park, and that pursuant to
Resolution No. 66-65 of the Council of the City of Baldwin
Park, State of California, he on the 23rd day of March
19 66 posted or caused to be posted notices to Construct in
a conspicuous place on each parcel of property in which construction
is to take place,
