A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO CAUSE THE CON-
STRUCTION OF CURBS AND GUTTERS
PURSUANT TO THE,PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 5870 ET SB? OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RE-
SOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION Thai- the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does here FIND. DETERMINE and DECLARE as to Ilowss
a) That more than fifty 50^) per cent of the
curbs and gutters have been constructed on the
to!towing areat
1) South side of Estella Street between
Maine Avenue and Phelan Avenue,
b) That it is the Intention of the City Council
to cause curbs and gutters to be constructed* at
the sole expense of the owners of properties in
and along said above described area, pursuant to
Section 5870 et seq 6 Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent Is Instructed to
give proper notice to construct said Improvements, above described,
to the owner or owners of the property described herein, as re-
quired by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways
Code.
SECTION 5, That pursuant to Section 587° seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council does hereby order that on the 1st day of June, 1966, at
8;00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. In
the Council Chambers, the City Council will hear and pass upon
any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the con-
struction of curbs end gutters In the area above described.
SECTION U. That all protests must be in writing and
filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing
of objections and protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the
Street Superintendent.
ADOPTED and PASSED this day of May, 1966.
