A RESOLUTION CF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP
BALDWIN PARK, COUNTY CF LOS ANGELES, STATE CF
CALIFORNIA, MAKING FINDIMSS AND OVERRULIN3 PRCTESTS
AFi) OBJECTIONS AM) ORDERING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS OF THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK TO CONSTRUCT
CURBS, GUTTERS AND SIDEWALKS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK STANDARD PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS CONFORMING WITH EXISTING CURBS,
GUTTERS AND SIDEWALKS CONSTRUCTED UPON THEM
FACING THE EAST SIDE OF MONTEREY AVENUE BETWEEN
RAMONA BOULEVARD AND FRAZIER STREET
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Improvement Act of 1911, Division 7,
Port 3, Chapter 27 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
having to do with the construction of sidewalks, gutters-and curbs *n rw^ f
property, the City Council of the City of Baldwin Park in Resolution NQ. 66-95
made a finding that more than 50% of the lots facing the east side of
Monferey Avenue between Ramona Boulevard and Frazfer Street
Had completed curbs, gutters and sidewalks in front of them; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by said Resolution No.^^saS-J^^1^ the
Superintendent of Streets to notify owners or possessors of the lots within
this block which did not have curbs, gutters and sidewalks on them to con-
struct them according to the City of Baldwin Park standard plans and^ specH*—
cations; and thereupon, the Superintendent of Streets, in compliance with this
resolution mailed and posted said notices which described the work to be done
and specified that on the 18th day of May_____, ig 66 afr j^no p- M^
Tn the Council Chambers In the City Halt, located at 14405 East Pacific Avenue,
Baldwin Park, California, a hearing would be held by the Council of the City
of Baldwin Park to pass upon objections or protests, if any, to notices of
work to be done by the owners of property involved or other interested persons;
and
WHEREAS, p protests being made at this hearing held of the
&bove designated time and place*
NCW, THEREFOR B£ fT RESOLVED by the City CouncU of the-Crty of
Baldwin Park as follows:
SECTION I, That all protests and objections are hereby overruled.
SECTION 2. The Superintendent of Streets of the City of Baldwrn Part*;
is hereby ordered to construct curbs, gutters and sidewalks in accordance with
the City of Baldwin Park standard plans and specifications on the front of all
lots facing the east side of Monterey Avenue between Ramona Boulevard
and Frazier Street
which have not been constructed or upon v^hich construction has not been corn"
menced and diligently worked upon within sixty 60) days of the mailing and
posting of the notices to construct; and that when this work is completed he
shall notify the City Council of the fact of completion so that a date for a
hearing of protests to the report of the completed work may be set; and upon
completion of the work he shall prepare a report of work which will include
I) work done 2) cost 3) description of the property in front of which it
was done and 4) the assessment against each lot or parcel which may include a
number of parcels of property whether contiguous to each other or not, which
report shall be made ready to be presented to the Council at the date set for
the hearing on the report of the completed work.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this resolution and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.

certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted
by the City Council of Baldwin Park at its regular meeting held on the 181'h
