A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OP BALDWIN PARK DECLARING ITS IN-
TENTION TO CAUSE TOE CONSTRUCTION OF
CURB AND GUTTER PURSUANT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OP SECTION 5870 ET SBQ OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF VSK STATE
OF CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OP BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWSt
SICTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park do^s here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows:
a) Thtet more than fifty 50%) per cent of
Curb and gutter have been constructed on the
following area:
1) Westerly side of Vineland Avenue
between Central Avenue and Badillo Street.
ft>) That it is the intention of the City Council
to cause curb and gutter to be constructed, at
the sole expense of the owners of properties in
and along said above described area, pursuant to
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to
give proper notice to construct said improvements, above des-
cribed, to the owner or owners of the property described herein,
as required by said Section 5870 ct seq of the Streets and
Highways Code.
SECTION 3, That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council does hereby order that on the 15th day of June, 1966,
at. 8(00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the can be hoards
in the counoU Chambers, the City Comwil will hear and pajas
upon any and all objecticms or protests to the ordering of pha
construction of curb and gutter in the area above d<MM=»*3b>ed^
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and
filed with the City Clerk or or before the tixne set for hearing
of objections and protests.
SECTION 5, That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution^ and forward copies hereof to the
Street buperijatendent.
