TENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION W
CURB AND GUTTER PURSUANT TO THE Pfe<^,
VISIONS OF S8CTION 5870 ET SEQ OF W
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
6ECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park doe* here FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fiHy 50%) per cent of
curb and gutter have been consfcruced on the
following area:
1) West side of Big palton Avenue
between Sierra Way and clydewood Street.
b) That it is the intention of the City Council
to cause curb and gutter to be constructed, at
the sole expense of the owners of properties in
and along said above described area, pursuant to
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highway^
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to
given proper notice to construct said improvements, above des-
cribed, to the owner or owners of the property described herein,
as required by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and
Highways Code,
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council does hereby order that on the 15th day of June, 1966,
at 8;00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard.
in the Council Chambers, the City Council will hear and pasfi
upon any a^d all objections or protests to the ordering of the
construction of curb and gutter in the area above described.
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and
filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for hearing
of objections and protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and forward copies hereof to the
Street Superintendent.
ADOPTED and MASSED this f6th day of May_____, 1966.
