A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO CAUSE THE CONSTRUCTION
OP CURB, GUTTER AND SIDEWALKS PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5870 ET
SEQ OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
OF IHE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OP TOE CITY OF BALDWIN PARK DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City Council of the City of Baldwin
Park does herf? FIND, DETERMINE and DECLARE as follows:
a) That more than fifty 50%) per cent of
curb, gutter, end sidewalks have been constructed
on the following area:
1) West side of La Rica Avenue between
Rankona Boulevard and Baldwin Park Boulevard.
b) That it is the intention of the City Council
to cause curb, gutter and sidewalks to be constructed,
at the sole expense of the owners of properties in
and along said above described area, pursuant to
Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The Street Superintendent is instructed to
give proper notice to construct said improvements, above des-
cribed, to the owner or owners of the property described herein,
as required by said Section 5870 et seq of the Streets and
Highways Code.
SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 5870 et seq of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council does hereby order that on the 15th day of June, 1966, at
8:00 P.M, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in
the Council Chambers, the City Council will hear and pass upon
any and all objections or protests to the ordering of the con-
struction of curb, gutter and sidewalks in the area above
described.
SECTION 4. That all protests must be in writing and
filed with the City Clerk on or before the time aet for hearing
of objections and protests.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution,,and forward copies hereof to the
Street Superintendent,

that he is the duly appointed, qualified and acting Superintendent
of Streets for the City of Baldwin Park, and that pursuant to
Resolution No, 6 6-13 6 of the Council of the City of Baldwin
Park, State of California, he on the 24th day of May
19 66 posted or caused to be posted notices to Construct in
a conspicuous place on each parcel of property in which construction
is to take place.
